    Checkout Changes!

    Hi All,

Does anyone know if you can change the order in which checkout information is displayed? My store presumably uses standard Actinic templates which present information in a rather illogical way. Ideally I'd like to change this if at all possible.

The current checkout process is as follows:

    Step 1:
    A - Shipping Destination
B - Confirmation to ship/invoice order to different addresses.

    Step 2:
    A - Invoice Address
    B - Coupon Code
C - Tick box to confirm acceptance of the 'Terms and Conditions'.
D - Confirmation of the desired Shipping and Handling service.
    E - Special delivery instructions.

    Step 3:
    A - Marketing question(s).
B - Confirmation of the desired Payment method.

The 'requried' checkout process is as follows:

    Step 1
A - Tick box to confirm acceptance of the 'Terms and Conditions'.
    B - Marketing question(s).
    C - Terms and Conditions.

    Step 2
    A - Shipping Destination
B - Confirmation to ship/invoice order to different addresses.

    Step 3
    A - Invoice Address
B - Delivery Address (if applicable)
C - Confirmation of the desired Shipping and Handling service.
    D - Special delivery instructions.

    Step 4
A - Confirmation of the desired Payment method.
    B - Coupon Code.

I think most would agree this is a far more logical to request information. However, is it possible and if so HOW?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Kevin

While in theory this is possible, this will involve a lot of work changing the checkout templates as well as the perlscripts. You would need knowledge of perl to attempt to do this. Please note Actinic Support does not support modification to the perlscripts.
