    Nortree positioning in Firefox/IE

I'm using a Nortree menu on a site on a proofing server at http://www.act6.artinet.co.uk/ - it's an adult store, albeit a discreet one, so don't look if very easily offended!

I have found that it's impossible to get the menu in the correct position horizontally for both Firefox and IE, it's correct in IE, but too far to the right in Firefox. As the main table is centred, I'm using "MenuCentered" and a figure of "-253" from the centre.

I'm sure someone else has come across this problem before, is there a solution, or do we just live with it?

Hi Malcolm - Nortree is donationware from Normans site at www.drillpine.biz so best to contact him and ask for support rather than asking on here

Oops, I thought I'd already donated for Nortree, but that was for another script! I'll contact Norman again about contributing.

I usually find it's best to ask the Community first, someone's quite often come across a solution to a Nortree problem before, and it saves Norman having to answer every question.

BTW, if anyone's squeamish about looking at the adult store, there's another site using Nortree (Catalog v6 site) at http://www.act1.artinet.co.uk/

Norman also has a support forum in his website.

Personally I've only set the cascading menus in to the left, so I'd be interested to know if there is a solution, otherwise you could look at Norman's latest offering the collapso (see example on www.surf-wax.co.uk/acatalog/index.html) this is based on the yahoo menu so is easier to position

I played with Nortree before abandoning it. When I placed it horizontal and chose centred I seem to remember I left the indent blank and it appeared to work fine.

          Worth a try.
