I'm new to Actinic and not a developer, but am proud to say I've managed to build a fully functional site www.evolutioncomposites.co.uk

Having got this far, I would like to make it more dynamic, i.e. setting some gifs into the banner and menu bars. Is there an easy way to modify these or do I need to learn HTML?

I can't see anything in the help or manual on this. Any constructive ideas greatly appreciated.

Stuff in the Logo and Menu area is usually controlled by the Act_Primary.html template (in your site1 folder). You probably do need a tiny bit of HTML knowledge to tinker there. It won't hurt to have a look. It's in Advanced / Template Manager / Main. You won't need a lot of skill to add an <img...> tag so that you can include some custom artwork. The most daunting bit will be finding where in the template to put something to get it to display where you want on the page. If you've a specific requirement, post that, and I'm sure someone will reply with detailed help.

Also your site is 1044 pixels wide. I think it's because of your main phonelogo2.jpg image. Many users have only 800 wide screens and very few more than 1024 wide. I'd consider reducing the width of the page so as not to discourage your customers.

      Thanks

Thanks for the advice Norman, I think I've successfully corrected the page size by reducing the image width.

I'll have a go at the template now.
