Sage Link into V7 Overwriting

If I import just stock levels, will it only change the stock level.

I know this may seem a silly question, but in sage at the moment, all of our products names are in caps. Don't ask why-long story.
A while ago I ran an update from sage and I am sure that it overwrote the changes in actinic I made from uppercase to lowercase.

Is this just me or does this actually happen?

Hi there

You are correct - the Link software will only transfer stock levels if that is what you have set it to.

I have been working with the Link for a few years now and have not experienced the changing of product names/descriptions from Uppercasr to Lowercase.

I have however, experienced problems where the Product Ref is in Lowercase in Actinic as Sage stores the product ref as Capitals, and if this happens then the Link will recognise the two as as the same.

Perhaps last time i asked it to update products rather than stock. Would that option overwrite the details?

Yes - your product details would be updated, but I do not see this as changing Uppercase to Lowercase
