Restricting Payment Method for Digital Downloads

How do you restrict the payment method for products that are digital downloads?

There have been a number of posts on this subject and a couple of comments by Actinic staff to add it to their wish list - ranging back to July 2004.

Has anyone figured out a way to do this or any possible workarounds? Is there any visibility into a possible patch from Actinic?

Hi Jim

I'm afraid this is still not possible. There are no patches or workaround, as it will involve changing the code in the actual program itself. Digital download was intended to be used with only an online payment server provider (Eg Worldpay, Protex, Paypal).
I will add your comments to the wishlist as well.
