Updating Duplicate Products

Is there a way of updating duplicate products when the original is updated without haveing to go to the duplicate and clicking on reset button. We have thousands of products with hundreds of them duplicated and I don't see the point having duplicate products if you have to physically reset each one everytime you change the original

This is already on the wish list for better tracking of duplicates. Some of the fields are automatically updated in the dupe when the master is altered but alas not all... which as you say can be very tedious tracking down all the duplicates in different locations

I hope this will be a user selectable switch. Sometimes you don't want *all* the details automatically updated.

Too right Bill - I have been requesting user trackable duplicates for many months now as this has to be the next logical step in what has been a great new feature (duplicate products).... worth the upgrade to v7 alone
