Actinic for back end order processing only?

    Hi folks

Is it possible to use Actinic's shopping basket and order processing abilities separately? I have a client using v.4 Business that wants to design her site herself and just link products in to the shopping basket, bypassing any Actinic-produced product listings and catalogue-syle pages.

She just wants a simple buy now or add to basket logo/text alongside her product listings that then processes the orders directly.

    Thanks for any help!

That is going to be very difficult as each page not only needs the add to cart buttons and scripts but also the other items needed by Actinic to track the sale. If you look in the advanced user guide there is the ability to add to cart from anywhere on the internet but this again assumes the products pages and various scripts etc are already generated and on a website.

There is no reason why the Actinic site cannot be designed and integrated how she wants with some serious template tweaking.

      Thanks for the quick reply.

I'll have a really good peep at the Advanced guide then :-)
