Price Ranges in Catalog V7

I am trying to make a site for my boss for bulbs (flower, not light !).

They have a price for 100, a reduced price for 500's and a reduced price for 1000's of the bulbs. So, how could I lay out a product so that someone could buy for eg 800 bulbs - 3 x 100 bulbs at the hundred price and 1 x 500 bulbs at the 500 price ?

EGs: 100 cost $5
500 cost $20
1000 cost $40

Customers may want 300, or 700, 2000, 2100 ....

Hope this makes sense, can it be done ?

Hi there

This possible to do with Business as it has "Quantity based discounting". For Catalog all you could do it have different choices within the product, but it will not work too well, as customer would need to select from a drop down list box.
