restricting shipping choice on certain products

shipping for the products in www.thenailwarehouse.biz is calculated by the total value of the order by making the weight of each product is the same as its price. Orders over a certain value are free. This works fine.

There is also an option for overnight courier at an extra cost - also works fine.
However in one section - salon furniture - there is up to a 14 day wait for delivery as these items have to be specially ordered. There is also a £10 furniture delivery charge added as a component.

Is there a way of disabling the 'overnight courier' option for the furniture products? When you order an item of furniture you still get the overnight delivery option and people are choosing it expecting to receive a special order nail bar the next day!

You could give the furniture products an additional weight to take them out of range of the overnight courier option. You could then repeat your normal shipping bands for the extra weight items so that the shipping costs still work out.

the overnight option is
£1- £49.99 = £6.45
£50+ = £2.50

So if increased the furniture weights to 1000 kg each and restricted the overnight option to £50 -£999.50 = £2.50 that should then "disable" the overnight option when furniture is ordered and make the regular shipping charge free. (the furniture delviery chrage is already added as a component)

I have changed the weights of all of the furniture to 1000kg but I don't seem to be able to set up the shipping table for overnight courier

if I add a row
999.5 kg = £0.00 then actinic will calculate overnite shipping as £0.0 for orders over £50.0 regardless of whether the order is furniture or not, so I have removed that row.

At the moment I have the following setting for overnite courier
49.99 = £6.45
50.00 = £2.50
take highest value in table

Any ideas what settings I need to make this work?
There should not be an overnite delivery option for orders over 1000kg.

49.99 = 6.45
999.5 = 2.50
do not allow excess weight
