    Products & Groups

I've had a quick look through the threads but I can't find an answer!

Why can't Actinic permit products to be included in different discount groups?

My store offers a standard discount on a range of specific products based on order quantity. However, these some of these products also form part of a special package which has a fixed price.

When I attempt to include products in two different groups, Actinic asks me if I'd like to move them from one to the other.

Is there a way around this?

    Thanks in advance.

If a product is in more than 1 discount group then it would recive discount A and discount B when added to the cart - more than generous!

For your fixed price package create a new product and add the inclusive products in as a component and set to override the price so just the "master" product handles the costings - that should then prevent extra discount on the component products

One step ahead of you there - I'm affraid.

I had already considered your idea, but since Actinic has issues with packaging and shipping products with multiple components and attributes this probably isn't the best solution.

However, if you're confirming it's the only one, then I'll give it a try.

      Many thanks
