I need some help and clear thought with a problem...
We have some printed items supplied by a third party on a bespoke basis, the prices as with most printed goods are quantity dependant which isn't a problem as that can be set-up in Actinic.
There is however a one off set-up fee of £7.50 for each order with the third party, regardless of variations in the type ordered.
Now that fee only applies if you buy these printed items and not to any other product we sell, so I can't simply make a surcharge rule based upon cart value and unfortunately it doesn't seem possible to make a surcharge per product group and then restrict that to 'one time per order'.
If I build up the product from components with associated product atributes there also seems to be no way to charge this set-up fee only once. For each type of print (variation) of you'd need to add that product over and over again and hence the component would be added over and over again, if I limit that product to max order one it then stops further built products being added.
In essence what I need to acheive is a surcharge for a product group applied only once per transaction.
Any ideas?
