check and send files not responding

hello all

i'm fairly new to actinic but have so far been able to get all my answers from this forum appart from this one.

I have a new site that has uploaded before but now every time it try to update, it gets so far and then stops responding.

it is always when it gets to
sending base files
sending os000001.pl

it hangs on this for ages then goes to (Not Responding)

any help would be greatfully apreciated.

Are you using passive FTP's under Advanced | Network Setup?

no the box is not ticked

Tick it and see if that improves things

still the same problem. after a while it stops responding

i think i have just fixed the problem. You pointed me i the right direction. i changed the cgi number and it seems to be working.
