    Multiple Attributes (forcing an option)

    Hi there,

I am currently designing a website for a furniture company. What the client is looking for is to sell a widget that has particular attributes for colour. So, for example, there will be a product called widgets that will then have a drop down menu displaying colour options such as blue, green, orange etc.

    Here Is The Example

Now, the client would like to force the user into selecting an option. One way to get around this is to set one attribute as 'please select a colour'. However, if no colour is selected then 'please select a colour' is carried forward to the checkout as a default instead of an actual valid colour attribute.

Does anybody know of a better way to get around this problem at all?

    Thanks in advance.

You have it right on the Maria 2 seat sofa, where the only options are colours and one is selected as default.

If these cut these attributes, insert a component called colour with an HTML name of Choose your colour, and mark that as required, then paste the attributes back into the component, it should work as you want.
