    Multi-User FFUA duplicate pricing bug?

We've been having problems of late with the pricing of products that have duplicates somewhere else within the catalog.

The majority of products we sell will have custom prices calculated although we do have a customer pricing structure set up for different groups which will automatically generate prices when a new product is created.

We often use duplicates of products in a 'Recommended' section in addition to the original product that will appear in it's traditional section. These products, however, then have a tendancy to lose their custom prices and revert back to the generated prices, in some cases displaying prices that are below our cost-price!

Is this a known bug within this build of Actinic and if so is there a fix/new build available which has solved this issue?

More info on how to recreate the problem...

If any details within the duplicate are changed (description, weight, layout etc.), clicking Apply will change the prices to the generated customer pricing levels.

This means that any time we want to edit the details of a duplicate product we have to either
    - remove all duplicates, change the original product and then re-duplicate in required sections
    - make the required edit, then reset all prices on the original product

    Any suggestions/ideas...? anyone...?

      Hi,

This is a known bug in the Version of Multi User you have. The bug is scheduled to be fixed in the next maintenance release, I am afraid I do not have a date for this at the moment but it will only be after v7.0.5 is in full production release.

I am checking to see if there is something that can be done to avert the problem, some sort of workaround perhaps, but I cannot promise a fix.

      Kind regards,

        Hi Bruce,

Thanks for the update. I hope this bug can get sorted asap because it is proving to be a real pain for us and we've found that we're having to adjust the way we use Actinic as a result of it.

        Regards,
        Simon

          Hi Guys,

Any news on the next release for Multi-user? We're still dealing with this bug but it's still causing a number of problems and we'd like a fix for it sooner rather than later...

          Cheers,

              Hi Guys,

Any news on a new Multi-User patch? Will upgrade news be posted on this forum, or on Actinic.co.uk, or via email perhaps?

              Cheers,
              Simon
