Other info prompt - Max field length

Hello everone,

I have searched for this in the forums and I have checked the Advanced Users Guide.

In the A.U.G. there are instructions on how to "Have a larger box for the Other Info Prompt". I'm not comfortable by simply adapting these instructions to my need as they pertain to increasing the rows and columns of the prompt.

Is there a simple way to make the Other Info Prompt only 10 characters wide? Can I simply make an adjustment to the ID field 2161 without changing the perl scripts?

You could limit it there. However it is possible to amend this input field in the Cart so you may need some Perl tinkering unless the 2161 prompt is also used by the cart scripts. Try it and see.
