If say the Cash on Delivery is not being used in your site, then you can change the terminology that is used on the website to say, Cash before Delivery.
This is in the payments tab, 2nd column which is Web Site Description, where you can change the terminology used, so a possible solution for you if you are not using them as stated right now.
