    Network Setup

    Hi evryone,

I have just bought a server package with easily.co.uk and in the email, they say,

The "live" directory to upload your web files to has the path /httpdocs/

I have done a Network test with the settings I have put in but I get this error message:

An error occured while checking the FTP transfer mode -- 200 Type set to A
    200 PORT command successful
425 Unable to build data connection: Connection timed out
    Try using the other mode.

    The settings are as below:

    CATALOG URL: http://www.volksrods.co.uk/acatalog/

    CGI-BIN URL: http://www.volksrods.co.uk/cgi-bin/

    CODEBASE: ./

Path From CGI-BIN to acatalog: ../acatalog

    CGI Script ID Number: 1

    Mail Server: localhost

    Website URL: http://www.volksrods.co.uk

    Path to Perl shell: /usr/bin/perl

    Path to CGI-BIN: cgi-bin/

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

If you're not using passive FTP then try that.

If you are using Passive FTP, then try deselecting it. Some hosts won't support passive ftp any more because of security concerns over keeping high number ports open for the data connection.
