Does anyone know (or how one could tell) if V7 supports Protocol 2.22 in respect of VbV and MSC?

To be able to accept Verified by Visa it appears the shopping software has to be compliant with Protocol 2.22. Here's a paste from Protx's newsletter...

HSBC and Barclays Merchant Services are the latest banks Protx have brought online with VbV and MSC, following the launch with Lloyds TSB Cardnet and Bank of Scotland in June.
HSBC merchants who would like to use VbV and MSC should take the following steps:
1. Upgrade to Protocol 2.22: VbV and MSC will not work with any older version of our system. If you are using a shopping cart, please check that your cart supports Protocol 2.22.

Then there's more details on how to set it up. So I'm trying to check if Actinic is compliant?

PROTX Protocol 2.22 will be supported in v6 but not in v5. This will require a rebuild of PSPSetup.exe and should be available by the first half of January, 2006.
Hi
It is possible to upgrade 7.02 to 7.05 by downloading the upgrade patch in the "Downloads" section of the Actinic website.
I rang Protx and they explained that this protocol stops "charge back" when the card is used fraudulently. The Actinic software has to be able to support integration of this protocol to enable this. However it is not done automatically. You have to apply to Protx for this and it is setup between Protx and the bank.
Yes, it is possible to upgrade 7.0.2 to 7.0.5 by downloading the patch, and then running it. Make sure you make a snapshot of the site before doing the upgrade and keep in a secure place, incase you need it.
If you are looking at upgrading to 7.0.5 only for Protocol 2.22 of PROTX, I would suggest downloading the latest PSPSetup.exe and running it on your system to enable 7.0.2 to support this protocol. You can download the latest PSPsetup.EXE file from here.
