Menu Hyperlinks (hard code)

Are there simple hard code html references to include in my menu to take people to the 1) Cart and 2) CheckOut ?

I want to have the same menu throughout my website, including the login/cart/checkout pages and if you use NAVBCARTLINK, for example, when you're on the login page it takes you to your actalog file directory !!!

I may have answered my own questions by trial and error ... but it would be nice if anyone could confirm that I'm right:

It seems to work if you use:

http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/ca0000...CTION=SHOWCART

and

http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/os000002.pl?ACTION=Start

Is this the correct way to handle this problem?
