Greetings,

I received some good advice about my quick-buy pages which leads me to a more general question. Is there an API document for a developer who would like to build free-form web pages that drop orders into the Actinic order processing pipeline?

I would love to build a one page click-to-buy that has a form that captures ALL the necessary info, drops the order into the "system" for processing, takes the successful or unsuccessful result of that processing (authorization, etc) and presents a single thank you page.

Having an e-commerce package that is more like an e-commerce API would be awesome.

Hi,

There isn't an API as such. If you collect all the data for an order on one page and then try to communicate that data to our scripts it will break at the first stage of checkout because the actinic scripts won't reply to your script instead the next form of the checkout process will be presented to the buyer.
