    Actinic 25???

A prospective client has told me that he already has Actinic - it's a magazine cover disk, it's the latest version, it apparently doesn't need an authorisation key, it doesn't have an expiry period, and it's limited to 25 products

I thought Actinic 25 had been discontinued, and that any cover disk versions of Actinic would be time-limited trial versions.

I assume it won't be any good for designing a website? Even if it is, it doesn't have an authorisation key on the CD case, so presumably I wouldn't be able to build his website on my copy of Catalog?

Actinic 25 is a fully functional version as far as I know. The versions given away on magazines are not usually the latest release and I don't believe that you can upgrade them without buying a copy of Actinic. It should be fine for designing a website - so long as you have the same version of Actinic available and they do not want more than 25 products.

Thanks for that Jan, I'll see if he can provide me with a key, otherwise I won't be able to do his site in my copy.
