paypal checkout problem

I have just signed up to paypal this afternoon and added it onto the website, this is my only form of payment on the site! but, when I tried to do an order on my website it does everything but take you to the paypal website, is this because i have only just signed up? Also nothing is showing in the orders tab as pending or showing a price etc?

There is no cost being added to the item in the cart - so nothing to go to paypal with.

What pricing model are you using? Sum of product plus components?

Should the base price be for the small card, with medium and large optional at extra cost? Or should small, medium, large be attributes of a compulsory component called size?

I did select a personal message so should have had a price of at least the 50p for that - but did not.

thanks, for some reason the cards have different pricing models! Easy when you know how isn't it!
