Is it possible to pass a custom variable over to an order?

Hi -

I have a custom variable "bin location" allocated to each product which tells a picker where in his wharehouse a product is. I would like to be able to pass this over so that it is printed on the order.

Is it possible to pass a custom variable over to an order?

Hi - could one of the support guys at actinic give me a "yes" or "no" on this so that I can look at alternatives if it is not supported.

Hi David,

You could use the Report Description Field on the Product Details to achieve that, as this description prints on the Packing List and Invoice Reports. You will have to go to View | Business Settings | Ordering .. Product Description in Reports, check 'Enable Extended Product Description for Customer Reports", this will create the ' Report Description' tab on the Product Details.
