You can edit the invoices to add whatever information you need using crystal reports (V8.5 for V6).
If you put information into the remittance terms (business settings, terms and conditions tab) they will be shown on the invoice.
There is a separate field for products called report description, this appears if you enable it in business settings/options. If you special offers are product related you could add them here - you need to add your main product description as well though because this field replaces the web description.
I have a couple of products that allow you to add bitmaps to the invoices, one allows you to add a company logo to the invoice and the other allows you to create headed paper (or print on actual headed paper), you can also have an additional bitmap that can display details of special offer.
