Turning Off Checkout

I am setting up a catalog site which is a view only with no online purchase at this time. I have turned off prices and online ordering. I would like to remove the view cart and checkout buttons from the side menu.

Is there a setting for these or do I need to modify a template.

You will need to edit the Act_Primary template - depending on your theme you will need to remove NETQUOTEVAR:FOOTERGUIDE (or possibly the NETQUOTEVAR:NAVxxxx) - probably best to comment them out of the template in case you need them again in the future

Should have added that the above will remove all the links (such as home, up a level T&C etc) not just the cart buttons so you will need to either hard code the others back in or use the appropriate NQV
