site includes files that are outside the Actinic

Hi there all, Just getting back i to the swing of things here ( well forced to as i have paid some one to do this but they have gone bump)

OK i upgraded from V4 to V6 some while ago and all is fine on my computer but i had to send a snap shot to some one and some of the photo files did not work. Like i said i had paid for them to fix this.

So like i said getting back into it i need to move the site to a new computer so did a snap shot and i get this waring

    "Warnings

This site includes files that are outside the Actinic Ecommerce installation directory.
On importing the site these files will be delivered to a temporary location within the Actinic Ecommerce installation directory.
Manual intervention will be required to restore the site after import"

Now having looked at it when i upgraded to V6 some of the photos are still in a folder "C:\Program Files\Actinic ecommerce v4" there are

Now i have tried to chage them manually Item by item but there is over 300 images! and it will take me years. Can any one think of a fix so I don’t have to do this ?

    Hi,

You can copy all the images from the earlier location "C:\Program Files\Actinic ecommerce v4" and paste them straight into the Site1 folder of the v6 installation. Once that is done you can change the path to the images in Actinic, by removing the full path eg : "C:\Program Files\Actinic ecommerce v4\Pictures \ xxxx.jpg" and only refrencing the image name. This will also ensure that the next time you make a snapshot, all the images are included.

    Kind regards,

if you are confident to do this in Access this would be the quickest way.
