Migrating to Actinic & maintaining rankings

I have succesfully migrated one of my sites to Actinic v7, but I noticed that only my index page retained any significant ranking even though I have placed lots of Redirect 301s for google cached pages.

I am now considering migrating another site but am concerned because several individual pages have top rankings (1-3) and I can ill afford to lose these.

Can anyone suggest how best to proceed?

    Hi,

I cannot see there being a problem as long as your page names remain the same from the old site to the Actinic site.

If the path to the new pages are different ie in the acatalog folder for the new site are these not treated as different pages?

Ah, yes of course, sorry (brain failure for a second there ). The only way around this would then be to have your 'acatalog' folder as the root of your site.
