removing brochure

Hi all, probably been asked a hundred times but i couldnt find anything via the search..

is there any way to remove the brochure pages? or do we *have* to use them? i want the site to go straight into the main sections (and not with using a redirect/301 etc)

Hi,

You don't have to use 'brochure pages'. You can't delete the 'home' page until the other brochure pages are deleted first and you must also make sure that in 'Design | Options | Miscellaneous' that the 'Home Page Link' is not set to 'Brochure'. Then you can delete the 'home' page.

To use your first shop page as the 'home' page, you will have to have a redirect page that bounces you straight into the shop as all shop pages are uploaded to the 'acatalog' folder. Alternatively, you can ask your hosting company to make the 'acatalog' folder the root of your site.
