    CUSTOMVAR's

I have two sites and on site A I have a selection of products which use a customvar called "flowerprice". I've copied this selection of products to site B - not remembering about the customvar - the result of this was that the customvar was not created, but the existing actinic variable of CUSTOMVAR:RIGHTBARTITLE has now been assoicated with the data.

Once I realised that I did not have a customvar of "flowerprice" I deleted the entire section, created the var "flowerprice" and then re cut and paste the section from site A in again.

However this time it still assoicated the values for "flowerprice" with the RIGHTBARTITLE variable.

How can I fix this so that when I paste in from Site A the customvar's match up correctly. I can't manually change them each time as there are almost a hundred references.

Just upgraded to V7.0.5 but the problem still persists!

      Hi,

When I copy a product or section between sites the 'properties' tab is empty. I've asked our development team to clarify what should happen here.

        Hi,

I've had it confirmed by our development team that the custom properties are not taken across when you copy to another site. This is because the properties may not exist in the new site. I don't understand why yours are being associated to RIGHTBARTITLE. If you would like it investigated further then register a support query here so we can get your snapshot(s), however, you should still have to re-input the properties anyway as, like I said, they are not copied across.

I will add this to the wish list.
