loggin me out after click on contact link

Hi I'm having a similar problem to this post but none of the suggenstion seem to work for me. I'm getting logged out when I click a link from the contact page.

Could you login and have a look and see if you could tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Logged in & went to contact page no problem there.

I did have an error trying to actually send the mail

CGI Timeout
The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for processing. The server has deleted the process.

Hi Mick,

The problem is not getting to the contact page but when you click a link from it. If you click products or anyother link from the contact page the login details disappear.

I Think the script time out is due to the fact that I don't I have the email setting right in the Network Setup.

Sorry to be a pain but could you just clarify for me that you can:

a/ login and see the Buyer: Test user | Account: Test | Logout at the top of the pages.

b/ click the contact link and still see the Buyer: Test user | Account: Test | Logout at the top of the page.

c/ click any link from the contact page and still see Buyer: Test user | Account: Test | Logout at the top of the page.

Because I can't see Buyer: Test user | Account: Test | Logout at the top of the pages when I click a link from the contact page. I've tried clearing my browser cache and still can't see the login info.

Thanks for the compliment. I'm quite pleased with it...I've being building it the best part of the week. I just need to get this problem sorted and I'm nearly there.

Replicated it, your not going mad

It works the first time from the contact page, but when I continue to click between sections it happens.

It looks like is not passing the ACTINIC_REFERRER in the links...have you any idea how to fix?

Wayne - just tried this. You are not logged out - try clicking products from the contact us page - no login details. Now click contact us again - contact details are there.

You seem to be missing the code in Act_Primary.html to display the login information - yet I can see the code, and if I go straight to products from login, the info shows up.

Looks as though you need to use the cgi links like http ://your.URL/cgi-bin/ss000001.pl?SECTIONID=%2e%2e%2findex.html in the contact us page as suggested in the other post.
