NETQUOTEVARS in SimpleSearch template

Hi,

We are trying to use the SimpleSearch template but can only find documentation on NETQUOTEVAR:QUICKSEARCHLABEL and NETQUOTEVAR:QUICKSEARCHBUTTONTEXT for this template.

Does anyone know where/how to set values for NETQUOTEVAR:SEARCHCGIURL and NETQUOTEVAR:CGIMETHOD that are used in the SimpleSearch template?

Hi,

Those values are derived from within Actinic. If you take a look at the source of apage with the simplesearch on it, you will see this....

Where NETQUOTEVAR:SEARCHCGIURL is the search script being invoked and NETQUOTEVAR:CGIMETHOD defines the method employed in getting the information the script requires.

thanks for your response. The problem is that the wrong url (domain) is being substituted by actinic - i was just wondering where in Actinic I need to update this to make sure the correct url is substituted.

The domain names come from the 'Advanced | Network Settings' screen.
