Search problem

For some reason my search has stopped working properly. It is picking up some words but not others eg I search for trousers and it works fine, but I search for jacket and nothing comes up. Also, it used to bring up items when searching for Jobman but it now comes up with the message

Catalog is unable to locate the details of a product that was found in the search. The web site is probably being updated. Please wait a few minutes and try again. If the problem persists, contact us.

I really don't know what the problem is, has anyone got any ideas?

do a site refresh (web > refresh), you may have a corrupted cgi/perl file somewhere...

take all your orders down first... just to be on the safe side!
