    Clarahost changes

After clara have updated there servers, apparently without any effect to user settings, i have got the following error:

'Failed to transfer a test file to the acatalog directory. (null)'

Any ideas on what this could be? I have already corrected the server host and i'm not too sure what setting wrong.

    Thanks

Did you ever resolve the Claranet server error you were getting and if so what was causing it?!

I've been trying to get a site live for the last week with Claranet, and have the same error, but can't find what's causing it!

I'm running another Actinic site with Claranet, with the same hosting package and server settings and this works fine.

      Any help appreciated.

When I first set up any sites with CLARA I tend to FTP to the site and create a cgi-bin and an acatalog folder under public/www

Worth a try to see if that help your particular situation

          Hi Jont

Yep that's what I do too, but it makes no difference. But I thought I'd try to copy the site up regardless of the error and it worked?! So I'm not sure why Actinic was throwing up the error. I just have a problem now with the checkout process and SSL?!

Cheers Jont. Those are my settings too. I hard coded my Cart button links and they changed when I moved from testing on Fasthosts to Claranet. So I've reverted back to using NAVBVCART, as it's far less hassle and that fixed the redirection to the SSL area. Oops!

Thanks George! I assume your referring to my business site. Just noticed something that needs updating too. But I'm now puzzled about my little Javascript clock...wrote it 3 or 4 years ago. It should run off your local machine's time settings, so there might be something out of sync your side (usual helpdesk response ). What browser, platform are you using?
