Putting automatic price in Sub Sections

    Hi all

Is there a way of substituting the product prices in a subsection into a list in the sub section text area.

I have 3 columns of products with an image and short title. I would like to add the price without doing it manually as I may need to carry out global price changes in the future.

I achieved this by giving every product it's own section within it's parent section and then creating duplicates of the products within the same parent section.

    Example:

    Parent Section
    ---SectionA
    -----ProductA
    ---SectionB
    -----ProductB
    ---Duplicate of ProductA
    ---Duplicate of ProductB

      eh?

I Too have a containing section for each product

Are you talking about auto populating a products price in to each products containing section description field - if so explain how you are doing this.

      Thanx

I think I missed the plot.

This doesn't put the price into the subsection's text area, but allows you to show product details in two ways.

One for the products' 'own' page (I use this for the details) and the other for the section containing the duplicates (I use this for a summary of the products with short descriptions). Changing the price of a product will then automatically change the price of it's duplicate also in it's summary (section) pages.

I hope that makes sense - reading it again seems gibberish!

Have you tried exporting to Excel and concatenating the product cost into the desired place?
