add extra countries

Hi
I am new to actinic and have built my site but I want to include more countries that it has. I am showing about 20 which are either N America, Uk or Europe. I want to add rest of the world as well but not have to type each one seperately. Is there somewhere I can select which group of countires ?

Brett - if you tell us where you are looking and what you want to do with the countries, we will be better able to help you. It sounds as though you are in View | Business Settings , Shipping and handling tab. But you could be on Advanced | Locations.

The help you will need is very different in each case.

adding countries

Hi
When I go to the checkout and want to add my name and address I get to choose from a drop down list of countries butnthere are not that many there. Foe example I dont see Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia. I want more country optios as I sell to all these places.

OK,

In checkout, you see all the countries you have set up tax and shipping information for.

If you are liable for VAT then in View | Business settings, go to the tax tab, and click on advanced to add the 'missing' countries into the tax free zone, the go to the Shipping and Handling tab.

Here you will have to add the countries to an existing shipping zone (or create a new zone - as appropriate), and add shipping class(es) and costs.

Thanks I got it worked out now.
Actinic is great but it is not as easy as it says on the box !
