Purchase batch credits and use as currency to buy ..

As I intend to sell an electronic product very cheaply, will Actinic allow you to sell credits, and therefore batch sell say 20 credits for £10, and minimise the overhead of secure transactions and minimum order amounts ?

This will then need to be supported with products being sold with the 'credits' as the currency, and accounts with 'credit balances' being set up etc.

Can it do this?

I do not think that Actinic can do this for you as you are basically asking the software to remember the amount of credits that a particular person has. For example, if I buy 20 credits but then only spend 10 I still have 10 left but Actinic has no way of knowing this so would allow another transaction of 20 credits.

I suspected as much. No problems.
Perhaps I'll set minimum order values to avoid pointless low value orders that don't cover the cost of payment processing.

Early days yet, but i assume Actinic can set minimum order values ?

Yes, in 'View | Business Settings | Ordering'.
