Product ID missing from Order Line tab

I have an annoying problem and can't see where its coming from! In one of our sites, the product reference is displayed before the description when viewing the 'Line Items' tab of an order. In all our other sites, only the description is displayed, which is a big problem when some of our items are very similar. Any ideas where this setting is lurking?

I thought this was the problem, but all our sites have the Auto Generate button unticked. Then of course i realised the orders are downloaded on a seperate PC, whose settings are probably different
