shopping cart on front page..

Hi,

I would like to display a more detailed shopping cart in the right hand sidebar, currently the only thing displayed is 'items: [no of items], total [total cost]" i'd like to display a list of each item purchased, with the total cost for that item. How would i go about this?

Does anyone know if this is possible, or easy to achieve? Is it simple a case of finding the relevant tags in the Act_ShoppingCart.html page?? have tried but to no avail...

What we can do in the current catalog versions would work only in case of logged in buyers where the pages are generated on the fly. It's a bit difficult for retail customers because static pages are displayed there.

The "mini cart" uses cookies to make the cart content available and javascript to display them. This may be extended to display more details. However the 4K size limit on the cookies doesn't allow general solution (hence not implemented by default).
