    Removing "copy of _pagename.html"

I have copied loads of sections to speed up structuring my site.

By default Actinic renames the page, for example, mypage.html to copy_of_mypage.html.

Should I change the name to remove the 'copy_of', as this doesn't come across as being a very good name for a page. If so will Actinic keep all the links in place ?

    Cheers, Simon.

If you do the renaming within the Actinic programme interface it will maintain the inter page links.

Guessed as much, but read about Actinic maintaining page names for Search Engine reasons..... but i suppose this is only important on updates for existing sites and not developing new ones.

Ok, I'll be changing them, cheers, Simon.

the "copy-of" page name happens when you copy/paste product info.

In the ideal world all your page names will be relevant to the page content.

If you find you have loads of copy-of and copy-of-copy-of page names I'd be inclined to change them, and then ensure you have a permanent redirect on the old page to the new page.
