is it possible to still use the old code for another store?

    Hello,

I just have a quick question.

If you have upgraded a product to a newer version is it possible to still use the old code for another store? If not will it fail when I upload or break in some other way?

    Thanks

If you upgraded your software via an direct upgrade provided under a Cover subscription, then the license for that previous version is retired in favour of the new version license you are operating under, so in effect apart from a short period of migrating from your old version to the new version, the old version is no longer licensed, so should not be used once you deploy under the new license.

If you mean - I have upgraded to v7 can I run a second shop on the v6 software? The answer is no, if you only paid the upgrade price, you still only have one licence.

Actinic have a method of monitoring software use and would contact you for the price of a new licence if you did 'try it on'.

If you bought a full price copy of v7 with a new licence then you would be able to run one shop on the full v6 licence and a second on the full v7 licence.
