Customers difficulty checking out

Hi just a query.
A few of our customers have had problems checking out.
Someone said it maybe because they don't have java loaded.
Has anyone else had this problem and do you know a link to the solution

Just tried your site - it is not a javascript problem. Add to cart hung for ages, and checkout resulted in a cobalt server error - but did not return a header that I could check - bad form.

Have to agree that it is nothing to do with java scripting on the site and more to do with the perl operations on your site, or rather perl process on the server...

When addings items to the cart and attempting checkout it is taking an age, whereas plain viewing of html pages is fine, so something to do with the processing through perl on your server.

Would speak with your host about this issue to be honest.
