Adding a Search Bar to Homepage

How do I, in idiot proof terms, add a search facility to the homepage of my website? There must be an obvious way - but not to me there isn't.

Hi Nick,

You will have to open Act_BrochurePrimary.html with an editor like notepad or dream weaver ( do not use wordpad ) and then insert the following variable NETQUOTEVAR:SIMPLESEARCH in the area you wish the search facility to appear. Save and exit. You can then check on the preview to see how it looks. Update the site to get it onto the live brochure page.
