NETQUOTEVAR for catalog page URL

Hi all

I am creating abit of script and require the page url of the catalog page, is there a netquotevar for this???

I'd rather Actinic produce the page url within the page, than me have to use some JavaScript to obtain it.

The link for the catalog (top sections) is available for use in most pages vis the NAVBCATALOGLINK netquotevar..

So will this do the following:

If i put NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCATALOGLINK in the primary template, up load, and then go to a catalogue page of "these_products.html", will this give me these_products.html where i put the NETQUOTEVAR ???

Just to check before trying it??!?!?!

That netquotevar will provide you with the URL as used by Actinic to connect to the top level sections aka the catalog.

i.e. if you simply placed NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCATALOGLINK in the source of the primary template, then it would simply show up in the page as text - based information, i.e. not a real clickable URL... so you would need to encase it within the appropriate <a href="NETQUOTEVAR:NAVBCATALOGLINK" etc etc within the java script you mentioned creating etc...

Dean - to try and answer the original question.

In your post #3 you clarify that you want to provide a reference to the current page - can you explain further what you want to do with the link, as the context you are using it in might change the answer?

Does the "Email a friend" code in the knowledgebase (link in the top right corner of this forum page) help you?
