Removing extra fees...

Hi,
I am kind of a new to this software, so any help would be great! the person who
made our web site added a £10 (Admin fee) and we would like to remove it now. i am not sure how to remove this extra fee...

Any advice would be appreciated.

Could be comming from various places - have you tried View | Business Settings | Shipping and Handling ... there may be a check against handling in there

The reasoning behind that is they may have changed the text from showing "handling" to "Admin" in the site text

Try clicking the 'handling' tab that sits beside the 'shipping' tab and see if there's £10 entered there.

Not an answer to above but are you aware with the "do not allow excess" button ticked a customer will not be able to add more than 10kg to the cart?

Where abouts in the order proceedure does the additional £10.00 show and where abouts on the customer receipt / cart details?

It's not obvious where it's coming from. Can you give us a link to the website so we can see what's happening?

make an order if you want and just put your name as actinic forum and i will delete the order...

this is what it says in ther terms and conditions and the shopping cart:

Please Note: All International orders are subject to a £10 administration fee.

Shipping costs will not be shown on International orders as we need to obtain a quote from the shipping company. After the order has been placed we will e-mail the customer with a quotation. To obtain a quote prior to ordering please EMAIL

It sounds like the £10 surcharge isn't automatic and is just something that you apply manually.

In which case, delete the the text from the terms and conditions page and the shopping cart page and you'll probably find you're OK.

I have deleted the text from Shipping + Handeling in Terms and Conditions, where is the shopping cart page?

Try looking in Act_ShoppingCart.html.

If it's not there, then you can use the template navigator in actinic to look at the other relevant templates.
