I want to use paypal in addition to protx.

Can someone tell me which of the 2 types of checkout facility that Paypal offers intergrates best with Actinic? or do they both work just fine?

Paypal Express checkout
or
Paypal Standard checkout

I use both paypal and protx. When I integrated paypal some months ago, I wasn't given any options. Not sure that it matters though, as all you need do is, enter your paypal merchant id in Business settings/Payment and Security/Payment Service Provider Configuration.

Does anyone know any different?

I also had to increment the version number in the OCCUpgrade.ini file in the Program Files/Actinic v7/OCCUpgrade/ folder. But yes, basically very simple.

I believe the confusion is that Paypal do their own alternative checkouts for people who don't have an existing package. Since Paypal is integrated with Actinic, we do't have to worry about those details at all.
