Search Engine Support

Hi ALL...
I am trying to set up the (internal) search engine for my web site...what does the search engine index on...what should I look for...Product Title, Product descriptio, meta tags...

Go into View | Search Settings and you will find 3 tabs for all of the search abilities and options, which should help and answer any Q's you have in this area.

Thanks..I have already done that..it just says Index products..is it product title, desc., attribute or everything?

The search will pick up basically everything that you can see on the screen (products and fragments etc). You can also add in any CUSTOMVAR's and allow them to be searched also.

Try test running aginst known words on your site and you will see the search terms highlighted on the pages to see what is being picked up
