hsbc order hash error

Hi

Just setting up hsbc secure payments in actinic. Got everything dropped in and entered correctly however, when goin through making an order and getting to hsbc page in test mode, im getting the following error:

HSBC order hash generation error!

does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? our customer called hsbc and they said it was a problem with actinic supposedyl?

has anyone experienced this?

Have you put UK at the begining of your merchant number and GBP at the end/. I always cut and paste the cpi hash key as it is easy to get it wrong.

I have checked both numbers and they are both correct.

Is it more likely to be a problem with the numbers we have been given rather than an actinic problem?

We have used hsbc before on a different website but had no problems that time?

It is very unlikely that there is a problem with Actinic, I would get HSBC to re-send the cpi hash key as any problems I have had with configuration have always been to do with this.
