Totally start again!!!!!

I have to totally start again with the serverside of things, folder in such a mess, images on server but cant view them on net. Sections happily work a few days ago now not!! etc

Can i just delete the contents of the WEB folder and upload again the contents of the SITE1 folder?

will this do any harm?

Absolutely none, as long as you leave the web folder structure intact. Web - Refresh website from the Actinic menu should do the same thing.

I find that Web refresh doesn't always delete absolutely everything. When i get in a real pickle on a test site, I ftp and delete the contents of acatalog, and the actinic contents of the cgi-bin ie xx000000001.pl etc. I also delete the contents of the PreviewHTML and SiteHTML folders too

Then I KNOW everything is gone!

One of the good things with actinic is the ability to scrub the server and start again.

Note: the above is for a test site, once the site is live you can apply the same sort of theory, but you have to be sure to only remove certain files - normally html, gif, jpg, cat, fil, css
