help on couple of issues pls

Hi All
I have a couple of issues which are nagging me...

1. My advanced search only shows up in the catalog section and not the home page..how do i get it into the home page....thanks

2. I am using the Smart Template and on the LHS Box..it lists all the sections and the sub sections...I only want it to list the main sections and not the sub sections because there are many of them...how can I do that?

I tried ticking on search on front page before..what that does is put an dvanced search on the front catalog page which is not what I want..i want it on the home page...thnxs

Hi,

To get the Advanced search on your Brochure page take a look at this thread..

I tried the work around in the Knowledge Base and it works perfectly fine for me. Once you make the changes as detailed, you will have to change focus on the content tree and click back to 'Online Catalog' to be able to see the changes in the page preview.
