Coupon Nightmare

Quite simple really, we want to give customers a coupon code for £20 of the next purchase, problem is whatever we do in Actinic it takes the discount off the pre VAT price, we want the discount off the order total,( before carriage obviously)
Any ideas anyone?

Give the voucher code a value of £17.02, then once VAT is calculated it will be £20 (maybe)

Thanks, I'd alrerady thought of that, customer is worried that the end user might missunderstand what he is giving them

You could set a message for the discount to say "£20 discount" so that they will not be confiused.
